What the app already does

The features below exist in the current Mac version. Those marked "still being fine-tuned" work, but remain simplified.

  • Play against the computer: you sit South, and the computer plays your partner and both opponents. Six AI levels, plus a custom setting.
  • Bidding explained: each call is translated into plain language (for example, "11-21 points, 3 or more clubs"). Five systems to choose from for each side: SAYC, Acol, Precision, 2 over 1 and Natural (still being fine-tuned, less detailed than competition systems).
  • Advice on request, when your choice differs from the computer's, or on every move.
  • Trick-by-trick review after the deal, and double-dummy analysis: how many tricks each contract would have made, with all four hands visible.
  • Formats: duplicate, free play (with honors) and Chicago; five practice drills (for example “South opens 1NT”) and a daily exercise.
  • Comfort: light or dark theme, four-color bidding, choice of card backs and table cloth, undo, claiming, statistics, import and export of deals in PBN format.
  • No connection needed: no ads, no account, no data sent; everything is calculated on the device.

Phone, tablet, computer

The app adapts to the screen. On a phone held in landscape, the bidding and score panel folds into an icon; one tap opens it over the table, and the computer keeps playing in the meantime. On tablet and computer, the panel stays displayed to the right of the table. The images below are screenshots of the app at the size of each screen.

Tablet: the table and the panel side by side.

Computer: same layout, more room.

The bidding box: bids that are too low are greyed out; the advice, on request, suggests a bid.
